Dancore Roofing & Construction is a family owned and operated business established in 1996. Owner Dave Wiebe started by working with his uncle doing roofing and siding, and eventually moved on to work for a builder supervising construction of new homes from start to finish.

When it came time to branch out on his own, Dave wanted a company name that meant something. Dancore was created from a combination of the names of Dave and his wife Evelena’s two young children, along with Dave and Evelena’s first initials at the beginning and end of the name, respectively. Their son, who was just a baby when Dancore was started, is now planning on taking over the family business once he finishes university.

Dave and Evelena are dedicated volunteers in their community, with Dave holding the position of president of the local skating club where their daughter skates, among other community initiatives.
